No Weare

This property has been owned by the family of the current owners since 1775, and the house itself has been around for at least a hundred and fifty years in this very rural area north of Weare, New Hampshire (sometimes referred to as No Weare).  To get to No Weare, it is necessary to drive over about a mile of hilly dirt road.  This is the site of a wedding I attended when I returned from Europe.

Actually, the invitation to this wedding is the reason I decided to take the long way around to get there by going by way of Europe.

Here is the wedding ceremony.  The bride and groom are at the moment of truth.  This seemed a fine and fitting conclusion to my tour.
